19' Racing Runabout Question

Hey folks,

I'm new here and new to classic wood boat ownership. I just picked up a beautiful 19' racing runabout and I'm trying to get some more info on her. The hull # is R19-246 and the MBL motor is missing the engine number stamp. Is there another place I can access the engine number? Also, can anyone give me any insight into when the boat would have been produced. I'm assuming later (1950's hull) given the hull number. I do not have the original card or paperwork unfortunately...
