A question I have been meaning to ask, what is the significance of the geese in the CCABC logo (what do geese have to do with Chris Craft)? and no i'm not trying to be a wise ass. :)

I don't have a picture but the geese have always been part of the Chris-Craft emblem. Maybe someone can post a picture of that red, white and blue logo.

Maybe I should have worded it differently, what did the geese have to do with Chris Craft (have to say, I never payed any attention to the geese on that post war emblem before)?

I can't access Jim's link to the 1980 Brass Bell. But Chris Smith made DUCK (not geese) decoys when he first started and custom boats for duck hunters. Every once in a while Mr Smith's decoys come up for sale....if you can buy one, get it...best investment you can make.

Thanks Mike! (MC)

I have seen the full crest before but never read the full explanation of it's meaning.
