If it doesn't pertain to metal, wood, wire or fabric—but it is about vintage Chris-Crafts, ask your question or give your advice here.

Chris craft club burgee repo still for sale?

Post by NORTHJOE » Wed Jun 03, 2020 9:22 am

I was doing some reading and I came across the brass bell fall 2008 article on the reproduction Burgee flags. Are these still for sale through the club? I did some searching on the forms but none of the links posted or contacts seem to work any longer.

Pretty sure they sold out quick. I went to Detroit and visited the company that made them originally. They seemed interested while I was there but would not take my calls once I left. I let it lie.

Bill Basler did the project and had to order a bunch to get the co to make them. They pop on ebay. But with that said, Staibs are very nice. He does it right. The only difference is the graphics on the band.
