A good lesson learned indeed.

In order for our craft to function as new and intended all systems must be checked and renewed.

Re: Which carb rebuild kit for CC KBL

I don't know what that sound was but I would be very careful before i ran it again. Check over all systems on the engine and maybe pull the plugs and turn over. maybe water got sucked into some place it should not be due to a gasket failure. make sure there is no water in the oil. just check everyth...

Re: Establishment of an engine spec archive

Peter; This would be great!!! Advances in technology now mean that individuals have the capabilities to scan materials without having to send them or donate them. I will ask Matt Byrne to comment here as to the specs for scanning. I know that our intent is to have as large/quality scans as possible ...

Re: Establishment of an engine spec archive

We have an archive already, just not much engine stuff on there. We need to keep expanding the archive we have.

Are you willing to get these materials scanned and donate the files to the club archive??? You keep originals

Re: Access to the Boat Buzz

The fact is we can do both and should. Only issue right now is some reinvestment into our web structure to support digital Bell. When the final Bell is ready to print it is in the form of a very large PDF file. From that point the digital file can be "dumbed" down and changed into various formats et...

apprecitate all the comments and thoughts. i know this: 1. Boat Buzz is a great asset of the CCABC 2. It benefits many people both non-members and members 3. It serves a vintage boating community purpose that the CCABC is happy and proud to provide 4. Has an intangible value exponential to the dues ...

Glad to help. We as the CCABC need to do a better job of awareness and marketing of the Boat Buzz.

It is the best thing going for the hobby IMHO and the most underutilized.
