painting a xk19 and rolling it over

I just had my 1970 xk19 regelcoated. Yes I said regelcoated. My shop turned it over and put it on a dolly. They went thru the exhaust holes with a heavy rope on the back and tied it to a big overhead hoist and took the bracket from the front lifting eye and mounted it on the outside where the eye wa...

XK 19 paint details

I need some detailed pictures for the waterline strip of the 69 or 70 xk19. Specifically the strip where it transitions from the side of the boat to under the bow. I am re-gelcoating my boat and we did not get pictures of the original strip. The strip does a little zig-zag when it transitions over t...

They also positioned your air scoops out to the side of the boat instead of on top infront and on the deck in the rear. I can see your old waterline thru the old bottom paint. I was just by the shop where i am having mine gelcoated and he just got the stripe on. He said it was a bear but it looks gr...

Ok i have a 1970 that my uncle bought new here in Georgia. It had the decals. If I can remember I think I think it was only the Cris Craft shield. From what I have found out the 69 had the xk19 metal plates. I don't think that after 69 they used the metal plates.

Steering wheels

I am trying to find an original steering wheel for a 1970 Chris Craft XK 19. It has 3 chrome spokes and has a white grip ring. I think is may be a Grant but I can't find it on there website
