Clutch Disks for MBL trans
Have a 20' Continental with MBL Engine, and have worn out the clutch discs-no more adjustment left. I assume this is a Paragon transmission, but don't know the model. I've heard replacements are hard to find. Anyone know of a good source?

Strater amps not shown on ammeter
The ammeter does not measure cranking amps as this can be in the hundreds of amps and would burn out a meter designed to measure the smaller charging current and drain of lights. It should show a small discharge when the ignition is turned on, and can be a clue to starting problems if not present.

It looked like the small air bubbles from brushing out that normally quickly vanish did not completely do so. I was using Z-Spar Flagship Varnish, and fi...

Changing exhaust elbo on MBL
I have a new bronze elbo for my MBL. I am wondering about instalation. It seems that I will have to turn the elbo-exhaust pipe combination to remove the existing elbo from the pipe once I unbolt it from the manifold. This will undoubtedly break the seal of pipe to boat at the rear. If so, what is th...

Fuel Junk
I had the same trouble last year after using gas with ethynol. Black gunk throughout the Carb. Had to remove, clean, and blow out the jets. I use nothing but pure gas now & so far no problems. Don Nissen (56 Continental, MBL Engine.
