30 foot 1968 avelier
I have a 68 Cavelier. It has been out of the water for two years. I am ready to launch but the port engine (283) will not fire. The starboard engine started very quickly with the help of a trickle of gas in the carb. I tried the same process with the port engine but there seems to be spark. It turns...

I ended up fabricating two new panels. I purchased the emblem on ebay. The lower part of the cowling is usually fibreglass with horizontal lines imbedded in it. I used cherry with a mahogany stain topping everything off with West System epoxy and paint and varnish. The look better that the originals

I shipped my boat via transpot truck to my new home. Along the way the starboard panel bearing the Chris Craft label blew away. Can anyone suggest where I could source this part. 1968 30 foot Crusader exterior trim panel
While my boat was being shipped to my new home the starboard exterior panel blew off. This is the panel on which the Chris Craft logo is mounted. I will post pics when I have them. If anyone has such a panel or can point me to a possible source I would greatly appreciate it.

Thanks Al I launched the boat two days ago and have it at my dock. It runs beautifully and just needs some lipstick. I plan to take it up to Georgean Bay through the Trent Severn Waterway. I have just purchased a home Lake Superior near the Min. boarder and I plan to bring the boat home this fall or...
