Winterization Proceedure
I want to winterize my 1956 Continental. It has twin in line sixes and I have been told that they are Hercules engines. Does anyone have the proceedures for winterizing these engines? Thanks, Gary

Re: Chris-O-Matic
Thanks to all of you for the thoughts. I think I will take my best guess and hook both transmissions up the same and test it out of the water.

Chris-O-Matic
Does anyone have a drawing or picture of the hyd. hose routing for the Chris O Matic. I took the boat apart 4 years ago and did not get a picture. Just need to know which line goes to which side of the pump. Thanks, Gary Welty. [email protected] or 816-810-4262.

Windshied 56' Continental
I have found a winshield frame for my 26' twin engine CC Continental. Can anyone tell me if the glass was curved or flat and what type of glass was used, Tempered, Laminated, etc. My boat was originally a hardtop but the previous owner sold the top and I prefer the look of the standard winshield wit...

Re: Steering Wheel Removal
I had the same problem with my 56 Continental. If it is the dodge steering wheel with a horn ring push down on the center cap and turn it counter clockwise. It has three tin tabs that hold it on. Once it is removed you should be able to remove the retaining nut and use a steering wheel puller. O'Rei...

Boot Stripe
Does anyone know which is the best point to use to level a boat front to back for a laser shot on the boot stripe. My boat is setting on three oversized saw horses attached to the stringers and is level from side to side but I do not know what to shoot for to level it front to back. The rear sponsio...

Does anyone know where I can order Flame Red fabric? My build sheet indicates that was the originl interior color but I have no idea what it looked like. Also, would the crash pad have been Red or Black Aligator?
