Does anyone know the diameter of a 1960 Chris Craft 283 flywheel?
Not the outer diameter around the teeth (i believe that is 14"?) but the flat surface, where u would draw a TDC timing line. Im thinking of having a custom flywheel timing tape made to stick on that surface. Thanks

A stray boat in my marina ran up on the aft of my cruiser, putting a finger sized dent on the corner where the aft deck and transom join. Im now ready to attempt repairs. Anyone have suggestions on how to repair ?

Has anyone heard whether Dave Van Ness has discontinued operation? I've been trying in vain to contact him for a couple months, getting no response from phone, email, voicemail, text... I've had an engine on order from Dave for more than 20 months.

Thank you all. I think I am narrowing in on a method. I happen to be building a 30x40 shop that might allow me to flip my cruiser on it's side using the tips and shoring ideas you guys brought up as well as those from the Danenberg forum. Yes I've been a bit confused by the nomenclature as well. The survey lists the boat as an Express Cruiser and later in the same report as a Sedan Cruiser. The hull # is SC 26-794
Perhaps I'll just need to plan on working on my back
