Sorry I didnt reply in a timely manner I never got a response on my email. I contacted the guy by email that knows how to do this I am totally stupid on this and really dont want to damage my boat. I will wait to see if he replys. Any other advice would be greatly appcricated. Thanks Roger

Leak down test
If you have a good compressor this will isolate about 90% of it. Go to your napa or any good parts store and rig up a fitting that will screw into your cylinders head and connect your quick coupler from your air hose.Make sure the fitting doesnt go deep into the cylinder broken pistons are not good....

I just ordered Yacht Brite
This product is almost 100 dollars a gallon I found some on ebay for $1.99 no BS! So I ordered 4 gallons of the polish and four gallons of the wax. So will see what happens. Will keep the members posted on what I find out.

Isnt it bad for fiberglass to grind
Isnt is going to ruin the fiberglass underneath if I take grinder to it? Shoudnt I take a electric sander with 180 wouldnt that be better the fiber glass is not real thick on the boat. Sorry to be a pain in the butt . But it sounds like a grinder would do more harm than good or is the gell coat real...

I have a hatch on top of the bow so what you saying it reinforce the flat part of the bow on both side of the hatch so it doesnt flex? Yes your imput is important Jim! I am going to strip all the teak off the boat I didnt think about doing the back side good idea! So if I use like 220 grit sand paper and sand by hand then clean it with Comet and let it dry I can then put the siken on it how long will it take to dry out in the sun? ...
