There are currently two aquahomes for sale near Toronto... Both in the 40' range. Been debating getting one to replace the 'Boom Boat' as to avoid another project and finish the two I currently have. Stay tuned :)

Thanks for all the condolences. I'm definitely happy to have come out mostly unscathed - a lot of that having to do with the compassion and humor injected into me by the fine people of Lion's Head - where I stayed for just over a week while the onsite investigation was moving forward. Again - while ...

One Less Lady on the Seas - A Tale of Tears

Hi Everyone, It's been probably a year since I've been active in the forums... excuse my tardiness but I've been extremely busy in life and not enough with things that matter (like my mahogany ladies!). For those who were following my threads on the 1950 42' DCFB complete rebuild - she is still comi...

I'm putting in the 1st of new wires right now. Long time coming! Glad I made this post as I inadvertently saved over my original design files for the 110v system (thankfully my detailed 12v plans are in tact!!!) Brand new transom and substructure should be complete - or 90% complete by end of week. ...

I use Circa 1820 which has proven itself time and again. It does require manual labour - but makes eases the process considerably.

I'm in Cell 8 in the same nut house. Come visit. Spent yesterday towing my '61 32' off an Island on Lake Ontario. Pretty stressful. She's been neglected for almost 2-years over there so it was time to get her home. Now she'll be neglected where she sits while I finish the '50 41' DCFB. Regardless - ...

Chris' & John Wayne

Just catching an old film from 1945 with John Wayne called "They Were Expendable". Only half paying attention to it, but my peripheral vision keeps catching some lovely shots of old war times Chris' (Elco's as well).

My Connie took a week to swell up. It was a long nerving week - holding my breath that at some point the bilge would stop kicking in. From initial put in, I believe my front bilge started every 3 or 4 minutes and ran for 30-40 seconds. After a week went by, the same bilge fired up probably once ever...

Well there's definitely the "right" way and the "wrong" way to fix a hole... though both can equally fix the hole and allow for a quick drop in the water to enjoy the season. Honestly the "right" way would be to remove the boards and replace with new...but I know this isn't always the easy option. H...

From recollection, this item has been discussed quite a few times. I recall reading in the archives about a year ago that Chris Craft did not keep records (or none are known to have been kept) of the actual Pantone colour codes for the cabin tops. I've seen everything from a 'mint-green' to teal and...

Differences in 'M' Series Engines

Not sure if this has been spoken about yet, but I couldn't find it searching the archives.

I was wondering what the differences between M, ML, MLR engines are? Do they all have the same block, bolt pattern, etc., or is that a dangerous assumption?

Don and/or Bill,

Assuming this hasn't been thought of yet - but is the sculptor able to cast a miniature mold, something either the size of keychains or maybe a paperweight (or both), that could be sold at the event and through the Chandlery online?

Just a thought.
