Thanks for the feedback. I will do as you suggest with one exception. I have done a little research and the consensus seems to be that the thickened epoxy is the best choice for the glue joint.

Thanks for the input. That's good to hear. I guess I spoke too soon about the Chines being in good shape. Starboard Chine has a crack at a frame around the dash board. Now, what to do about it? Thanks. I was referring to the horizontal bolt when i asked if it was threaded into the arm or if it was just a through bolt with a nut. I could not loosen the bolt so I had to cut it and drill it out. Still working on it.
