what are they making the glass out of? Plexi is fairly forgiving. I'd GUESS they are the same.

I believe a good chrome shop can do a remarkable job with that level of pitting. You may want to try Aluminum wool in prep to the chrome shop.
The broken area could be soldiered before chroming, as mine was broken similar.

I'm with Jim on the bow eye, not standard. I would get the hull card from MM and then decide if you want to restore to original or make it look like your fathers old boat. Welcome aboard, nice project, like Matt said, put on a fake a lake and get motor purring, then get it in the water, lots of instruction on first time soaking in the archives. Work on her pretty later.

Best place to watch is ebay. There isn't any source for model year and/or engine manuels that I'm aware of. It might take a while but you can find them.

do most of you change out your threaded lifting ring rods for age? Not at my boat but what material are those rods. Upgrade to stainless?
