Rare Find: 1953 18′ Chris Craft Riviera Project Boat with matching Engine and Hull Numbers
My husband and I bought her about 35 years ago thinking that some day we would fix her up. We owned and ran a 1954 Reviera that we had refinished at the time. Shortly after we purchased it, my husband and his step-father ran the engine. Both were professional mechanics and his step-father owned and operated a marine repair shop for a number of years. They would have properly prepared the engine for storage. I have verified with the Mariner’s Museum that the hull and engine number match. The one thing that I know to be missing is the original shifter. I have the original windshield glass. Being sold without trailer. Asking $10,000 but all offers will be considered.
