1958 25’ Chris-Craft Sea Skiff

Location: Tacoma, WA

1958 Chris Craft Sea Skiff 25ft. This is a trunk cabin hard top and one of just a few left with the hard top option. I’ve only seen one other Sea Skiff under 30’ with the hard top. This boat is in overall good condition. The most recent survey from 2020 confirms this…and included in the file are the last 4 surveys going back years. Recent work completed: Complete top end engine rebuild: 283ci SBC Professionally rebuilt heads (Cope Bros.) -stainless springs/valve guides, seats, seals, new lifters and cam, new rocker arms, new pushrods. New gaskets (everything that was touched got new gaskets). Rebuilt Starter (sound starter). Rebuilt transmission. -built by 50 year veteran Chris Craft technician Jim McNeilly (formally McNeilly Marine on Lake Union). New spark plugs, wires, cap, and rotor. Rebuilt Carburetor (Carb Tech Tacoma). Rebuilt/re-curved distributor with electronic ignition, new coil. New impeller. Complete new freshwater cooling system. -new exhaust manifolds. -new fresh water pump. -new heat exchanger. -new exhaust (complete including “Y” pipe). -all new hoses, fittings, gaskets, and hardware. Dual batteries (both less than 3 years old). New shore/battery charger. Relocated oil filter (for easy clean oil changes). New electronic fuel pump. New fuel filter. New fuel lines, pickup tubes, and shutoffs. Scrubbed/cleaned fuel tanks. Automatic fire suppression system (engine). I’m sure I’m probably forgetting some, but this is pretty close. Water heater. 20 gallons fresh water. 20 gallons holding tank. Trailer has brand new tires with warranty, axles, new bearings, brakes, brake lines, lights, winch, bunks, carpet, and wiring. Comes with all the usual Life jackets Cushions Mooring lines Fenders Am/fm cd/aux stereo vHF radio GPS Galley equipment (cups, dishes, etc) I had intended on keeping this boat forever and have been rebuilding it without sparing any expense, however, Im needing to tend to my aging parents and I don’t have time to continue. It does need some cosmetic upkeep, but it has ZERO rot (confirmed by the recent survey) and it’s cosmetic needs are not severe. I can sell the boat w/ or w/out the trailer and I will have the boat in the water in tacoma to demonstrate that it runs, floats, doesn’t leak (other than the normal stuffing box drip). $13,500.00
