1956 24’ Chris-Craft Semi-Enclosed

We are selling our 1956 Chris Craft 24' Semi-enlcosed model (SE-24-007) the Laura Ann with an original bottom and original KL engine.  The engine was completely overhauled in 2021 by Van Ness Engineering with new pistons, rings, bearings, valves, replaced exhaust manifold, rebuilt carb, waterpump and fuel pump (21 hours and counting on engine since overhaul).  Complete 12 volt conversion including rebuilt distributer with 12 volt Pertronix,  starter and generator.  New spin on oil filter added.  New gas tank installed in 2020 (Rayco Tanks).  Anchor with chain and rode mounted on the forward deck.  Mini deadlight installed in forepeak.  Portable toilet.  Removable boarding pole added to port side.  Engine access built into port side of main deck (absolutely needed with a KL engine in this model!) Replaced entire wiring system with USCG approved marine cable, fuse panel, resettable circuit breaker and battery shutoff switch.  New tachometer cable installed this year.  Water temperature gauge replaced with 12 volt gauge (mechanical gauge capillary tube failed, still have the gauge).  All navigation and cabin lights converted to 12 volt.  Replaced the 6 volt automatic Lovett bilge pump with a 12 volt Lovett bilge pump.  Added a Jabsco bilge pump and an emergency bilge suction to the main engine pump.  Main deck was replaced by previous owner with 3/4" marine plywood. Deck covering is outdoor carpet.  Engine box overhauled this winter new marine sound/fire insulation. Boat is currently in use out of Cape May, NJ offshore up to 3 miles.  All safety equipment included consisting of 6 adult life jackets, 24" life ring, throw bag, fire extinguisher, USCG approved LED distress signal device and portable horn.  Electronics include a Raymarine Dragon Fly 4 GPS chart plotter, depth sounder (transom mounted transducer), water temp, ICOM IC-M330G VHF with GPS and built in DSC. 1982 Jerde wishbone trailer completely rebuilt with new axles, springs, brakes, hubs, wheels, new wiring and DOT LED lighting plus new bunk carpet.  Also comes with a Navigloo boat cover storage system.  This boat is a family fun boat, not a show boat! Boat is in service and in the water at a marina (salt water).  Have the hull card and all information from Maritime Museum.
