How in the heck is the rear seat back fastened, I would like to take a look at the fuel tank.
Thanks,

Dave,
It should lift up about 1/2" then pull forward on it. If not look for screws holding it in.

Thanks Jim,
I thought it would be something like that, but it wouldn't budge easily.... So before breaking something I thought I would ask.

1st of many questions, and I look forward to learning. This is brand new to me!
Thanks again,
Dave

I am the 3rd owner of a well loved boat. So if it starts this weekend, and its been a few years, it will be in the water next weekend. The bottom lucks good and small seams have sealed up since it has been in my yard with all of our rain. Luckily, everything has been maintained, so the tank looks good, and gas smells and looks good. It is from a drain and refill last year, but had stabilizer added.
This is my first old boat, but I rebuilt a 48 Willys, so I have had the old flat head motor indoctrination course. Heck, the boat is 6 years younger!
I will be taking alot of pictures, and asking lots of questions.
thanks,
Dave
