Pre-War U22 Steering Wheel

Postby conkeyh » Wed Feb 15, 2012 11:00 am

Anybody know what the Auto equivilent Steering wheel Chris Craft used on the pre-War Utilities? I know it's a three spoke black wheel, but it doesn't look like the typical Ford version.

Maybe al schinnerer might know. Generally the auto analogs don't fit on the boat because the hubs are configured differently to slide onto the shaft.

Sorry, but I don't know of an autmotive equivalent. It may have been used on industrial vehicles like fork trucks.

Take a look at the following thread. It might help. Or, do search for steering wheels. It has been a topic many times. Good luck.

While we're on the subject, can anyone tell me the correct steering wheel for a 1963 CC Custom Ski?
