I just purchased that boat. The pics are recent. The camera date was just not set. I will know alot more when the boat arrives in a few days.

Congratulations on your purchase. And thanks, John for posting the listing. Pete DiVito and I were just e-mailing back and forth about this Deluxe. We both have '48 models and were commenting on a few "what if's". We both have '48, 17' Deluxes, mine is R-17-1570, just 10 numbers older than this one. With the (likely) original KBL this was very tempting. We can relax now that you have her in good hands, Steve.

Be sure to keep us posted on her condition when she's in your hands and please get her into the Hull Registry. She'll be a big project but I believe it's one that will be worth the effort.

Thank you for the warm welcome. I've been lurking on here for the past year or so while searching for a project. Although I've owned quite a few fiberglass boats, this is my first wood boat. To that end, I'm sure I will be asking alot of questions. I don't take delivery until this Wednesday but here is a preview of what I'm getting (myself into?).
