1957 CC "A" Engine

Post by Al Benton » Wed May 20, 2009 3:02 pm

We have a Chris-Craft model A engine from a 1957 Cavalier 15' Utility and can't determine the voltage that was used on it. There's no markings on the coil or starter. What voltage would have been used on this, 6 or 12 volts?

The tag is black, thus, 6 volts. Thanks much.
