Chrysler 6 Sump / Oil Pan

Engine is a B Special or C - 1931 (as far as I know and similar to K Series) which has an oil leak at the front end, most-likely the main bearing seal at best guess.

Does anyone have experience replacing the sump gasket or know if the front bearing is in fact a packing ring integrated with the pan or is it part of the case?
