Pre War Windshield Chrome

Post by Jim Godlewski » Sun Aug 01, 2021 4:34 am

I'm not sure how to remove the glass and the seal prior to sending it in for chrome plating. I'm going to replace the glass with new as well as remove the snaps and have the holes filled. Thanks.

Unscrew all the visible screws. Then push the rubber seal back and there should be screws hiding behind it.

Thanks Jim, The only visible fasteners I see are on the side mounts where it attaches to the brackets. I'll have to get to it and see if removing those will help.

They are under the rubber bottom gasket. Should be 2 fasteners on each corner, then 2 on the side at the bottom corners then the bottom frame can drop down.
