1950 U18 rub rail trim

Post by JacobErdey » Wed Oct 23, 2019 12:54 pm

Anyone have a source for the stainless/chrome rub rail trim for an 18' Sportsman? Or at least a picture reference that I could try to get some to match? Also, if there is some known supplier, I will also need the chrome spray rail trim and the thin wide pieces that run from the rub rail down to the chine trim. Any info is appreciated.

The big issue with the trim is it shipping. It usually has to go semi truck. Get a shipping cost before you order.

Understandable. The main issue I have at the moment is locating the correct trim in the first place. I also have an industrial supplier locally that I may be able to order the correct stock through to make the trim out of if necessary. I've seen many different shapes/sizes on the different CC models. Does anyone know the correct trim for the 1947-54 18' Sportsman?

Here are the options. My guess would be "B" style

The U-18's used both the B and C profile rub rail.
