1931 Model 199 - Step Pad Fasteners
I have the correct frameless black step pads from Classic Boat Connection. If anyone knows the proper fasteners to use please share. Thanks

If there was no step pad frame then it was a brass #6 round head straight slot with a brass washer. They would go inside the step pad right in the corners of the pad. In the photo it's hard to see but if you zoom in you can just make them out.

I like the picture Notice very little stain on the boat as one can see planks and grain.

Brass. Steve the stain looks light because of the lighting its hard to tell in this photo. I have others of the this boat and it looks darker.

Later in the 30s they went to nickel escutcheon pins when no chrome frame on utilities and such.
