K Engine Head Corner Stud Mod

Post by les » Fri Mar 04, 2022 11:22 am

I have read in posts that the 2 head studs on the corner of a K block by the manifold need to be modified or that bolts are used in order to eliminate the chance of cracking the corners of the block. What precisely is the stud modification? My corners have bolts instead of studs.

Put bolts in the square corners. That's the way it came from the factory.
