So looking to quite down my 23' 1961 Sea skiff a bit. Currently it has straight pipes for the exhaust. I see that there are various type of mufflers on line can purchase. What should go with? She started life with a 283 she was re powered before I bought her with a 305.

My 1966 Lyman hardtop with a 327 195HP Graymarine came with Vernatone fiberglass mufflers from the factory. Helps keep the exhaust noise "droning" down with the hardtop. You will need to verify if there's sufficient space under the floors for the mufflers. They're now part of Centek so Google Centek Vernatone for sizes, horsepower ratings and sources.
