My 1962 Connie has a textured wallpaper. What was the stock finish?

That was it, clean it with bleach water and enjoy.

I used 3M spray adhesive where it was coming loose and then painted it. I'm looking for the square door latch mechanism that goes to the forward berth. I have the knobs and stem but it was missing the square box.

They're 2 or 3 latches on e-bay right now--use "chris craft parts" to find them!!
