Heya all, just a quick update in case anybody cares!
The bottom is pretty much done. We'll put the 6th coat of 2000e on this weekend followed by the bottom paint.
Overall the job wasn't too bad. The worst part was getting the bottom torn down and cleaning everything up that we re-used.
Everything we kept was in good shape. With the addition of all the new fasteners and 5200, I know this thing will last forever.
However, next time I'm just going to replace every bit of wood. For instance, we pulled every single frame from the boat. We sanded, filled, fixed, sealed, painted, etc. It would have been easier to just cut new ones. In fact, we did replace a few dodgy frames. I made a judgment call on keeping most of them due to various logistical reasons. But, when it was all said and done, cutting new ones would have been a better route.
Anyway, here's a few pics:

A couple more coats of 2000e and finally a couple coats of bottom paint.
It's getting there...

Well, since I missed the boating season this summer, I slowed down somewhat. However, I have made some progress.
The bottom is officially done. I'm just tying in the sides now.
I replaced the transom planks and the lower transom bow as well. The new rub rails turned out ok, but I learned a lot and will definitely know how to do them next time.
I had two coats of sealer over the stain, and three coats of varnish. Today was the first day for sanding. I then threw on another coat.
It seems to be coming in pretty well.
I should be in the water by April 1 here in Texas.
