30ft Skiff Express Needs New Home

I'm a sucker for Sea Skiff cruisers. I've owned two, my family had two before that. So the marina where I winter store has a 30ft Sea Skiff Express cruiser that they acquired for back storage. It sat in a heated building for at least three years and then got moved outside and shrink wrapped. Over the rough winter we've had in MI the year the shrink wrap blew off and left this poor old lady naked for part of the winter.

This boat looks to be in pretty good shape. I was on board last year for a few minutes and I got the impression who ever owned it took good care of it. I don't know the year. It's been repowered with 327Fs. It has mahogany trim in the cockpit and I think the cabin as well. It has mahagony cabin side as opposed to painted and they are salvageable.

If you know anyone who might want to pick this up cheap message me.

I had a 30 like that one. My father had one too. Outside of being very wet they are good boats. This one needs to be saved before it get trashed.

I discovered that the owner had paid up back storage so the marina has stopped claiming title. However, the marina was going to contact the owner to see if they were interested in selling. From the looks of things, the owner is not very interested in the boat. I'll post if I find out any more.

There's a 30ft open skiff with a hard top listed on Craig's List here in MI. I think it's a 60 or 61. They want $4800. They'd be lucky to get $3k. It doesn't look all that bad.
