There's a 1956 Chris-Craft Sea Skiff Color Brochure in the Archives under Marketing Literature that shows samples of some of the colors. White, Buff, Green & Black ones are shown. They were also available in Blue, Yellow and Gray. What was the original color on yours?

I have found that its easier to "Browse the Entire Archive" then select "Marketing Literature" then find the year, than to use the "Search" feature when using the Archive.

My build sheet does not list a color so I quess it was white. The next color the boat was painted looks like the green color which is really starting to grow on me although the gray might look good as well.

Thank you for the archive tip, I'm new to the club and have never been to archives.

Hello fellow Skiff Owner,

I see your post on being a new member. Congrats! I own Sk-18-414. I have been searching for my fathers 1956 18' skiff Sk-18-398 which was green on the hull color for many years. Do you know your hull number stamping?

Lots of great information here to be absorbed. Can't wait to here your reply.
