WAY late to this party...but here's my 1969 38' aluminum Roamer Regal sedan. I have loved these Roamers since I was a kid on the Ohio River in Cincinnati on my dad's Cavalier.
Her name is HONEY WEST. I bet most of you guys over 50 know who Honey West is! We keep our boat at VIP Marina on Lake Travis, outside of Austin, TX.

Her name is Nauti-Turtle II. She is a 1969 38' Roamer Regal. I purchased her 3.5 years ago and it has been a love afair ever since. My wife claim's she is my mistress (she's probably right).

Reviving an old thread!
I'm the 'new' owner of the '64 38' Commodore previously discussed in this thread. We bought her from an intermediate owner (he got it from the owner who posted here), and are looking forward to getting her back to the glorious condition she deserves to be in. I'm taking a LOT of photos, I'll share some once I get them loaded on the computer and sized down for the forum. I love reading about all of the other projects on the forum, and seeing other owner's results- beautiful boats, all of 'em... I hope to be one of that number in the not distant future myself!

Looking forward to see your boat and read about your experiences. Where are you located?

Yes, do keep us updated! I re read all the post on this Roamer page and found them very interesting and informative...a neat niche boat class for sure.

15 years ago I was staring at a really nice Roamer that had docked near us for the night. Upon noticing my glassy eyes, my lovely and sweet wife came up and said "no dear, we already have a boat". I was led away like a schoolboy being taken to class by the ear. She was probably right..... maybe....
