Boat Buzz

The Coeur d' Alene (idaho) Classic Boat Festival will be held at the CDA resort, at the boardwalk, on Sat. Aug. 27 and Sun., Aug. 28. Please check the inlandempireacbs.net site for details and registration form. this promises to be a great fun event. There is no registration fee and boats are free to come and go as they please during the event. A fun buffet dinner is planned for Sat. night at the Resort Boat Shop.

Some of those attending the show are planning a trip on Friday the 26th of August from cda to st. maries, via the st. joe river. This is a beautiful trip, particularly for those who have not seen the southern part of lake coeur d' alene, or the st. joe river. The plan is to leave blackwell island at 9:00 am with a rendezvous at the cda resort at 9:20 before heading south. The deadline for registration is coming up soon. Looks like we will have a good turnout of boats and the weather looks great. A perfect combination for a great show. Hope to see you there.

That is a trip I would love to make one year. Too far to drive, but if I can get a boat into the overhead bin...
