Club meeting at Tavares/Dora show

Post by jfrprops » Wed Mar 04, 2015 9:38 pm

Al and the usual suspects:

It is about time to put up a posting about the Saturday meeting at Tavares in the big tent....this has been a special event the last few years and for the tradition to continue and expand....we need to get the word out and start a posting as to who expects to attend...that will keep the post alive and generate interest.

Come and see the top ten posters and all your CCABC friends!

John, you are so right!

The Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club Membership Meeting - Saturday, March 28th at 1:30 PM under the Big Tent.

Club President Jim Frechette will open the meeting at 1:30 with introductions followed by a few announcements and some presentations. Then Jim will open the floor to questions and comments from our members. All officers and directors plan to be there, so it will present a great opportunity for open discussion on any subject pertaining to present and future Club related planning.

Come early enough to grab an after lunch snack and drink (soda, water, beer) before the meeting starts.

We plan on making both events also while basking in the warm Florida sunshine after this cold New Jersey winter.

The motor home is packed and ready to start our journey to Tavares. We pull out at 2:30 PM St. Louis time today (Karen can't leave her 5th & 6th graders until then). We'll be pulling into the onsite dry camp Thursday afternoon. We hope to see many of you at the Rejuvenation Woodworks, Antique Boat Center Open House which the Club is helping to sponsor along with Hagerty and Woody Boater.

Be sure to stop by our Club Booth and please don't miss the CCABC Membership Meeting on Saturday at 1:30. Safe travels to all.

We also plan to get away from the cold Ohio winter as well. See you there Friday onwards.
