It was in the box with its trim ring, i think the back decking is original and the rings screw holes are the only ones there. the knob is 4 venting the tank and a wire 4 the don't loose chain attaches to the small round on the underside. thanks.

I do not believe that gas cap is correct. Should be a 3" star shape with 8 points and captive chain. Enclosed is a picture of the original hardware from my 1935 16-35. Gas Cap is on the bottom shelf against the wall.
