:D I am restoring a 1938 19' runabout. For the record, this hull appears to have the green-grey bilge paint as well. The top sides were in very good untouched shape. During the restacking process I noticed the port side to have three screws per frame station ,and the std. side to have four screws per frame station. These boards are indeed book matched. go figure..........markmcisaacinc.com

I've heard of stuff like that often. Old timers claim it was an apprentice on one side trying to keep up with a journeyman on the other.

Thats BS, cutting corners like that. I would call up customer service and demand a partial refund ASAP!
