Carlo Riva and the Chris Craft Barrel Back

Post by Don Ayers » Sat Jul 05, 2008 1:19 pm

Most on this forum have seen a Riva if not up close but at least in a picture. Many may remember the classic lines of the CC barrel stern with the modern style of Riva. This was no accident. One of the most influential designs that Carlo studied was the 16' Race Boat of Chris Craft, the first true CC Barrelback. He studied that design and in Carlo fashion made it into an Italian work of art, the Corsaro.
