Batting under vinyl upholstery?
Does anyone know what, if any, material was used under the deck and cockpit vinyl in 1960's CC division and Cavalier division utilities? I read that Century used thin cotton as batting material, and was wondering if CC used a similar material under the deck and cockpit upholstery in it's models.

the cotton you may be refering to is called coachwadding, and it is very light and period correct . If you find this to be true for your project. You may have a hard time finding it, because it comes in rolls of 50' and so far the only supplier that carrys it is Keyston Brothers in Ca. And unless you ask the right question they do not stock it.
The right question is to have them check their branches and see who has it and so forth. Nice people and very helpful .
My possible is if you find you need it, and can't acuire it , I can , be glad to help.
