Glass thickness

Post by Mark Moore » Mon Jul 24, 2017 5:40 pm

I am preparing to replace the sliding tracks on the windows of my 65 Constellation. I took all the measurements and need to order the track. Here's the deal. Is the glass 3/16 or 1/4? I didn't think to measure it while there and the boat is 200 miles away. Would like to get my order in and not wait till next trip down. Anyone know?

Hi Mark,

I've been off this site for a few months due to other distractions. When I saw your post's subject I immediately thought it dealt with fiberglass. Consider changing the wording to something like window glass thickness and see what sort of response you get.

I need to replace the tracks in my Father's 45' Connie. Where did you find the track?
