I just bought the boat. The steering wheel has way to much free play. The problem is right there in the hub, not the steering gear. How does that come apart, does anyone know.

interesting. Why are you so sure it's in the hub? Every chris I've played with has a lot of play between the wheel and rudder. The steering wheel is keyed into the steering column, so for there to be play there would be a tall order I think.

Do you have the wood wheel with one lever or two?
I have gone through mine and can help you. If it looks like the photo.
