1973 XK-18 porpoising issues
Recently purchased 1973 XK-18 with 400 HP Guardian engine. Knew it porpoises during sea trial but also knew jet drive control was not adjusted properly in that if you pushed lever too far forward, it actually would start to close down the gate as if going to neutral / reverse. Fixed that issue and got improvements but still has moderate porpoising at about 30 mph just after it gets planed out. Anyone have an XK-18 with this problem/solution? Thanks
