can you tell the year or model of a boat by the hull number? # s-22 287

Not exact but close.
22' Sedans were made from 1948-1954.
S-22-001 to S-22-436
Hull S-22-272 is a 1950
yours is probably the same

Wow...You have a 22' Sedan...Same hull as a U 22 but with hard top...these are hard to find.....but if you are tall, don't try and stand up in it.
