Looking for the Photo Archive ...

Post by North Woody » Wed Sep 05, 2018 1:29 pm

Making good on my promise to ask dumb questions as I dig deeper into the new-to-me world of wooden boat ownership, I have what I think is a pretty straightforward question for you guys: Where can I find the photo archive that I've been told we can access?

I understand that there is an extremely well populated set of folders with detailed photos of different boats going back to the early 2000's, but my sub-par forum searching skills are clearly letting me down :? Can you guys please point me in the right direction here?

Go to the Home page of the CCABC, in the nav bar you will see RESEARCH, That will open a tab, ARCHIVE. Or just click here. Its a little wonky so sometimes you may want to seach a two word term with "Quotes" https://chris-craft.org/historic-archive/

Thanks Matt, that pointed me in the right direction and I've been happily searching for lots of esoteric stuff without bugging everyone here :). Specifically for photos, I ended finding what I was looking for on the ACBS members-only area under the "Resources" menu. Under "Photo Gallery" there is the Terbrueggen Photographic Collection with loads of awesome, detailed photos going back to 2000, all filed by year: https://myacbs.org/PhotoGallery

What an incredible resource!
