Let's Celebrate Our 40th Anniversary

Post by Al Benton » Thu Feb 07, 2013 2:43 pm

The year 2013 marks our 40th Anniversary, and we plan to celebrate it all year at every boat show and event possible.

Help us by volunteering to be a Club Ambassador and represent the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club at every boat show and event that you plan to visit this boating season. The Club will provide brochures and hand-outs for you to distribute. We'll even provide a banner to display, if event organizers permit.

Plan now to help us celebrate our 40th year and promote the Club everywhere that classic boaters gather. Email us at [email protected] or [email protected]

Thanks in advance,

Club Director Gerry VandeVusse [email protected] is gathering a crew of members to represent the Club at the Grand Rapids, MI Boat & Sports Show Feb. 13-17 where the Water Wonderland Chapter, ACBS will have an impressive display. Chris Smith, grandson of Chris-Craft founder, will be present on Sunday, Feb. 17 to share stories from the past.

New members, Dennis & Barb Hansen have volunteered to help at this show. As well, they will help represent the Club at Boats on the Boardwalk, Traverse City, MI and at the Hessell Show this year. They plan to display their Chris-Craft boat at these events.

Director, Brass Bell Editor Bill Baldwin along with member Dick DeFazio will represent the Club at the prestigious Lake Chautauqua Boat Show later in the season.

As you may already know, most all Directors will be present at the Antique Boat Festival, Sunnyland Chapter, ACBS in Travares, FL where we will conduct a Membership Meeting at 3:00 pm Friday, March 22nd.

Well, that covers 5 or 6 of all the shows and events that will take place this boating season. So; 6 down, and only 99 to go. Please help.
