Summer Brass Bell

Post by Bill Basler » Wed Aug 27, 2008 9:31 pm

The Summer Brass Bell is complete—finishing up at the printer and coming your way. This issue really turned out very well. There are many great feature stories and beautiful photography great issue from cover to cover. I owe our contributors and volunteers a big thank-you.

While I'm on my soapbox, I should announce that the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club is knocking at the door of 3,600 members. I send a welcome letter to new members, but as I see many new names here, it's worth repeating: Welcome, it's great to have you with us. The activity here on Boat Buzz is fantastic, and I owe you all a great deal in helping out those with questions. I really enjoy the intermittent Thompson, Century and Gar Wood talk as well. It's all highly informative and great for the hobby. I am learning right along with all of the newcomers.

Thanks again all!

Where has DiMaggio's boat gone?

Post by Take Time » Tue Sep 30, 2008 9:44 pm

That was a sad artical on about Joltin Joe. It is sad that the family has cut ties with their past. Are there any hopes on saving a piece of Bay Area history?
