Winter 2008 Brass Bell In the Mail

Post by Bill Basler » Sun Mar 02, 2008 8:45 am

Your Winter 2008 Brass Bell is on its way! It is another outstanding issue—pushing 100 pages, and full of great content. I have heard from a handful of members who have received their issues already. Yours shouldn't be far behind.

Bill,
Brass Bell arrived today and just couldn't put it down. I grabbed it from my wife and told her this magazine was as good as owning another antique boat. Of course she added that it was a lot cheaper.
Kudos to you and the staff on a job well done.

Further to my PM, I'm sure my current issue will arrive shortly. Having just received the previous (and my 1st) publication of 'The Brass Bell' - I'm amazed and the quality of the publication. Love every page!
Cheers,
Jeremy Campbell

I got mine in "sunny" Washington state yesterday. So far I've really enjoyed the R. C. Anderson/Cavalier story. Now on to more......

If you guys got yours now, I expect I'll see my copy in about 3 or 4 weeks. Something to look forward to.

Bill:
As with the last issue (Fall 2007), my first new and improved Brass Bell since the 1990's, I am patiently waiting for the present BB to land in my mailbox.
Not to worry, it will be worth the wait!
By the way... it is a beautiful publication.

Al, I could practically throw you your copy from here. Or put it on a small raft and float it down the river.

Bill, I'll be camped out by the river waiting for it to float by. That may be quicker than the USPS can manage.

Pamela,
You can find your '58, 55' CCC in the Archives. Go to: Archives (Club Home), Browse the Entire Archive, Select Marketing Literature, Scroll down to 1958 Chris Craft Fleet Catalog, Pages (I forgot already), towards the last pages, I think 38,39,40 maybe.

Bill,
It drifted by this morning and some kind soul brought it by the house. Thanks.

If anyone believes that, I've got a couple of nice restoreable bridges I could let go at a bargain price.

My sincere apologies to the USPS. Now, time for some good reading!!!

Al

P.S. Wilson, you can leave yours at home now. I've got my own.
