Serving out my term as President, resigning BOD

Dear Friends and fellow Chris-Craft Enthusiasts:
I am reaching out to all of our members here at the Chris-Craft Antique Boat Club to thank you for allowing me to serve such a great group of people over the last number of years.
I am taking this opportunity to inform you that I will be serving out my term as president until 12/31/2018, however at that time I will be resigning my position on the Board of Directors. Due to some unforeseen circumstances I feel that my time and efforts are required in other endeavors in my life.
My departure will increase the number of open positions on the board to three for this November's election. The added benefit to this is that the election cycle will become even with three positions open every year and the 7th position being filled by the Managing Editor of The Brass Bell (Currently Steve Griffitts). At this time I believe we have two candidates who are interested in running. It would be a positive thing to have more candidates than positions open, so if you are willing to serve the Club, please contact Bob Kays (chair of the nominating committee) at [email protected].
Thank you again for the honor of serving this great club,
Troy Hersom
