Need a wood craftsman near Sarasota, FL

If it doesn't pertain to metal, wood, wire or fabric—but it is about vintage Chris-Crafts, ask your question or give your advice here.

Need a wood craftsman near Sarasota, FL

Post by homeiste » Sun Sep 16, 2012 3:20 pm

My brother has a 22' 2003 CC Launch with the heritage package (teak floor and mahogany accents). Beautiful boat, but the finish on the metal dash, glovebox and other small parts is poor and deteriorating quickly. He would like to replace some of these parts with stained and varnished mahogany. Can anyone recommend a shop close to Sarasota, FL that could craft and finish these parts for him? Thanks.

Thanks Bob. I'll pass this to my brother. I found some others in FL listed on Antique Boat America, but this looks like the closest to him.
