I have received mine. I get my issues in the mail right long with everyone else. Jeff, I have received calls and emails from about two dozen of you saying issues are received.

Correction, Pete!

The Spring and Summer issues were supposed to be in one package which you should have received. The Fall issue has not been published, printed or mailed yet. The photo that Don refers to is in the Spring 2011 issue.

Pete, did you not receive the Spring 2011 Brass Bell along with the Summer issue? If not, there is most certainly a problem.

Well I only received the Summer issue. It was not in a plastic bag as usual and the card that comes with it was in the middle of my mail by itself. I guess I am missing the Spring issue which would never be found because the address card was in the mail.

Any chance of getting another issue?

Pete,

It's amazing that you got either issue with the card. The package must have broken open at your local post office being that at least one of them was put in your mail box with no address on it. Sure hope this isn't a wide spread problem. Mine hasn't been delivered yet. Hope to see them soon (in an unbroken package).

Here's my CSI report.

My Summer issue was in the plastic sleeve, with the card, but without the Spring issue. The adhesive strip was partially intact but the sleeve was ripped and the magazine was damaged at the top corner. The combined weight of the 2 mags must have been too much for the sleeve to contain. There is very little friction between two Brass Bells rubbing against one another. Thus allowing the perfectly bound corner of one of the magazines to pierce the plastic when dropped or mishandled.

Either that or my mailman stole one issue. I'll interrogate that shady s.o.b. tomorrow.

Dont go to wild on the postal worker. You know what they say about thier tempers. But personally i think they enjoy GOOD reading too, if you have a female carrier i wonder if you would get a cosmopolitan or redbook mags later. (Just kidding if theres any carriers reading this) chad and others, I do hope they return your other copy....... when they're done.

Nothing yet up here in Northern Michigan, although we are in a blizzard with 30 mph winds and possible 3-6 inches of snow. If the mailman is stuck in a snowbank I know what he is reading and it isn't Cosmopolitan.

I saw the bulging mailbox as I returned from the marina to check out the cruiser and the mail carrier had stuffed it with 2 sets of Spring & Summer Brass Bells. Both wrappers were open at one end but both issues were included in each package.

They are both amazing with great content.

I'd be happy to buy a Spring issue from someone. Once they're done reading it, of course.
