Stripping out all the the hardware and electrical today and have come across a few items that have me scratching my head. Any thoughts? It looks like it posted my photos in reverse order to what I typed this.
First up is this metal tube thing with a flange. It was just laying in the floor of the boat back near the fuel tank. Can’t really see a place it would mount to the engine or anywhere else for that matter.
The next is the bolt in the forward deck support. There is a slight ring around it on the wood and there was a big washer laying in the bottom of the boat that matches up with the wear mark in the wood. It is kind of online with where the steering box would be but about 10” forward of it.
Now for the two flat metal pieces. There are actually three total. Found them in the bottom of the boat near the engine. First I thought maybe a battery hold down but then found a third.
Lastly is this little metal tab that was at the end of the steering box behind the throttle linkage. It looks like a screw is supposed to go through it as there is an outline of a square nut on one side. But there wasn’t one when I removed it from the steering box.
Thanks!

The top piece is a throttle brake. It holds pressure on the throttle linkage so it maintains same speed. there is supposed to be a screw through it. Probably in the bilge.

The stud through the frame under the forward deck is for the horn to mount to.
The 2 metal clips I don't think where original to the boat and neither was the funky copper pipe which looks like it went to the fuel system. The fuel line would have been 1 piece of 3/8 copper line from the tank shut off valve the the carburetor.
