trainig session for my 62 Constellation and it's electronics

If it doesn't pertain to metal, wood, wire or fabric—but it is about vintage Chris-Crafts, ask your question or give your advice here.

trainig session for my 62 Constellation and it's electronics

Post by Lynn Lucas » Mon Jan 14, 2019 3:13 pm

Hello. I am Lynn Lucas,75 years old male, in pretty decent shape, and am just about done restoring my 1962 Constellation, 32 ft. which is now also in pretty good shape. My desire is to take it up the West coast to British Columbia and catch some salmon. However I am buying a fairly sophisticated chart/fish finder and would like some help figuring that out. I also would like to have a knowledgeable person show me what I can and cannot do in this boat in the ocean. I might get away with launching and hoping for the best, but would like to take some friends out and have them feel comfortable with me as Captain. I can haul it to Oregon or Washington in May or June. Is any one reading this who might be interested in showing me the ropes? Boat has a new bottom, rebuilt engines, quite a lot of new planking, upgraded electrical, and etc. If interested and able, contact me via this forum or email [email protected]
